Administration route:
Administer intravenously or intramuscularly. The intravenous infusion rate should be slow (approximately 20-30ml/min).
Dosage:
The recommended dose in all species is 12,5mg sulfadoxine + 2,5mg trimethoprim/kg of l.w., equivalent to 1ml of the drug/16kg of l.w. or 3ml/50kg of l.w. in a single dose.
In most cases, a single dose is enough, but if a therapeutic effect is not achieved, the treatment can be repeated at 24-hour intervals for a maximum of 3 days.

Do not inject more than 10ml at the same point of injection.
The weight of the animals should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.

The safety of this medication during pregnancy and lactation has not been proven. Use only in accordance with the benefit-risk assessment made by the responsible veterinarian.
