Indications
Adjuvant treatment for inflammatory disorders and painful processes of mild intensity of the musculo-skeletal system, such as: arthrosis, bursitis, laminitis and soft tissue inflammation.
Dose / Application / Administration
Route of administration:
Administration on food.
Mixed into a portion of meal or feed, the medication will be accepted by most horses.

- Initial dose: 6,25mg of suxibuzone per kg of live weight, twice a day (equivalent to 2 sachets of 3g for every 480kg of live weight, twice a day) for 2 days.
- Maintenance dose: 3,1mg of suxibuzone per kg of live weight, twice a day (equivalent to 1 sachet of 2g for every 480kg of live weight, twice a day) for 3 days. Subsequently, 1 sachet daily (3,1mg of suxibuzone/kg/day) or on alternate days, or the minimum dose necessary to obtain a satisfactory clinical response.
Poneys and foals:
- Doses of: 3,1mg of suxibuzone/kg of live weight (equivalent to 1 sachet of 3g for every 240kg of live weight) for 2 days. Subsequently, 1 sachet on alternate days, or the minimum dose necessary to obtain a satisfactory clinical response.
Hay, as part of the diet, may delay the absorption of suxibuzone and therefore the onset of clinical effect. It is advisable not to feed with hay immediately before administering this medicament. If there is no evident clinical response after 4-5 days, discontinue the treatment and reconsider the diagnosis.
The safety of this medication during pregnancy and lactation has not been proven. Do not use this product during these periods.
