EQUEST PRA-MOX ORAL GEL

For the treatment of mixed infestations produced by strains sensitive to moxidectin and praziquantel in cestodes, nematodes and arthropods:

The reappearance period for eggs of small strongylus is 90 days.
The product is effective against the development of L4 intramucosal stages of small strongylus. Eight weeks after the treatment, the early L3 larvae stages (hypobiotic) of small strongylus are removed.

Route of administration:
Oral.
Dosage:
A single dose of 400 micrograms of moxidectin/kg weight and 2,5mg of praziquantel/kg weight using a dosage syringe of one graduation per 25kg of live weight.
Each indicator mark is equivalent to 25kg of weight and 10mg of moxidectin/62,5mg of praziquantel. One syringe is used to treat a 700kg animal.
In the case of treatment against cestodes, the praziquantel dose of the product has been selected at the upper limit of the dosing range.
The veterinarian should recommend appropriate treatment programs and animal management to achieve optimal parasite control.

The medication has been shown to be safe for breeding, pregnant and lactating females. The administration of this medicament does not adversely affect the fertility of females.
