Indications
- Cattle:
- Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia hemolytica, and Mycoplasma spp. strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of severe acute mastitis caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of digestive tract infections caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of sepsis caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of acute arthritis associated with mycoplasmas, caused by Mycoplasma bovis strains sensitive to enroflaxacin, in cattle under 2 years of age.
- Porcino:
- Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma spp. and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of postpartum dysgalactia syndrome, mastitis syndrome, metritis and agalactia caused by Escherichia coli and Klebsiella spp. strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of digestive tract infections caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
- Treatment of sepsis caused by Escherichia coli strains sensitive to enroflaxacin.
Dose / Application / Administration
Routes of administration:
Intravenous, subcutaneous or intramuscular.
The injections must be applied at different points of injection.
In order to guarantee the administration of the correct dose, the weight of the animal will be determined as accurately as possible, thus avoiding underdosing.
Dosage:

Dosage:
- Cattle: 5mg of enroflaxacin/kg l.w., corresponding to 1ml/20kg l.w., once a day for 3 to 5 days.*
- Pigs: 2,5mg of enroflaxacin/kg l.w., corresponding to 0,5ml/20kg l.w., once a day by intramuscular injection for 3 days.
Cattle:
- Meat: s.c. 12 days | i.v. 5 days.
- Milk: s.c. 4 days | i.v. 3 days.
Pigs:
- Meat: 13 days.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones or to any of the excipients. Do not use on growing horses due to possible damage to articular cartilage.
