Injectable solution. Light pale yellow aqueous solution.

Dogs.

For the treatment of lameness and pain from degenerative joint diseases or osteoarthritis (non-infectious osteoarthritis) in the skeletally mature dog.

Route of administration:
Subcutaneous.
Dosage:
3mg/kg l.w., equivalent to 0,3ml/10kg l.w. in four occasions, separated by 5 – 7 days.
Three annual cycles can be carried out.

To know the appropriate dose, the weight of the specific animal must be determined before administering the veterinary medicinal product.

The safety of the drug has not been studied in pregnant or lactating animals, therefore use in pregnant or lactating animals is not recommended.
This medication should not be used at the time of delivery due to its anticoagulant effects.
No more than three cycles of four injections should be administered in a twelve-month period.

Each ml contains:

Active substance:
Pentosan polysulfate sodium: 100mg/ml

Excipients:
Benzyl alcohol: 10,45mg/ml
Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate
Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate
Sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustments)
Hydrochloric Acid (for pH adjustments)
Water for injectable preparations
