HORSES:
Route of administration:
Intravenous.

Dosage:
2.2 mg ketoprofen/kg body weight/day intravenously once a day, for 3 to 5 consecutive days, that is, 1 ml per 45 kg body weight.
To treat colic, one injection is usually sufficient. A second administration of ketoprofen requires reassessment of the patient's clinical status.

The safety of ketoprofen has been investigated in pregnant laboratory animals and cattle and no adverse effects have been observed. The product can be used in pregnant cows. In the absence of studies in pigs, use only according to the benefit/risk assessment under veterinary responsibility. Do not use in pregnant mares.

It can be used in lactating cows.

Its use is not authorized in mares whose milk is used for human consumption.
