Indications
For all species:
- Isotonic dehydration.

- Electrolyte replacement in burns.
Dose / Application / Administration
Route of administration:
Intravenous.
Dosage:
The volume and perfusion speed will depend on the clinical condition, the existing deficit in the animal, the maintenance needs and the continuous losses.
In the absence of shock, the speed of perfusion recommended is 15ml/kg/l.w./hour (between 5 – 25ml/kg/l.w./hour). In cases of shock, a high initial perfusion rate is necessary, up to 90ml/kg/l.w./hour. High perfusion rates should not be maintained for more than 1 hour unless urine output is restored. The maximum rate of perfusion should be reduced in cases of cardiac, renal and pulmonary diseases.
The safety of this medication during pregnancy or lactation has not been proven. Use only in accordance with the benefit-risk assessment carried out by the responsible veterinarian.
