The reverse disc which design has been registered is a burr that HDE developed in collaboration with Dr. Rob Pascoe.
The reverse disc allows the working surface of the instrument to be positioned in even the smallest buccal spaces particularly in the caudal oral cavity to effectively address sharp points which are a common cause of buccal trauma and ulceration.
The reverse disc also avoids some of the challenges seen with applecore heads when used in this area. In that, it will naturally address the most prominent areas of the teeth.
