Unless specifically stipulated in writing, purchases made at GIROVET S.L. are subject to general conditions of purchase contained on the page at the time the corresponding purchase order is placed. The formalization of an order entails the full aceptance of these. These purchase conditions have been exposed in due time, in accordance with current legislation.

The present General Conditions regulate the sale of the products presented on this website (www.girovet.com) by Girovet S.L., with address at Carretera Les Planes Km. 3,9 in Sant Gregori, 17150 Girona.

All purchases made in www.girovet.com are subject to the following General Conditions and the Law 7/1998, April 13th, about General Contract Conditions. These sales are regulated by the law 34/2002, July 11th, about Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.


The purpose of this contract is to regulate the contractual relationship of sale born between the provider (Girovet S.L.) and the user, at the moment which the user accepts during the online contracting process in the corresponding box.

The contractual relationship of sale entails the delivery, in exchange for a certain price publicly exposed through the website, of a specific product or service.


To place the order, the products will be selected by clicking the "add to cart" tab. The order will be the total of selected products. The prices indicated for each product do not include de Value Added Tax (VAT) or other taxes that may be applicable, and in any case, they will be express in the euro (€) currency. Said expenses, unless expressly stated otherwise, does not include shipping costs, manipulation, wrapping, shipping insurance or any other additional services and annexes to the product or service purchased. The prices applicable to each product will be those published on the website, and they will appear automatically by the contracting process in its last step. The client assumes that in any case the economic valuation of some products may vary in real time. In any case, this will always be previously communicated to the users. Every payment made to the provider will entail the issuance of an invoice in the name of the registered user. Said invoice will be send with the purchased product. The offers will be valid for the time they are published on the website or until the date indicated in the offer itself.


Girovet S.L. confirms the acceptance of the order to the customer via e-mail. The sale will not end until Girovet S.L. confirms the order.

Girovet S.L. reserves the right not to confirm an order for any specific reason such as the supply of products, a problem related to the order received, an abnormal order or foreseeable delivery product. Girovet S.L. will inform the client.


The client will choose the place of receipt of the merchandise at the time of placing the order. Girovet S.L. reserves the right to use all the necessary means to deliver the products to the address indicated by the client. Shipments to Canary Islands: by accepting the general conditions, the client agrees to pay customs fees.


Delivery will vary depending on the destination and the selected service.
As a guide, the contracted delivery times are as follows: Spain (Peninsula) 24-48h; Balearic Islands 24-72h; Canary Islands consult conditions; Portugal 24-72h; Europe transit time to consult. In any case, for various reasons, the delivery may be delayed.
For Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla and the other countries, the delivery will be determined at the time of acceptance of the order.
In case that we do not have a product in stock, we will inform you by telephone or e-mail about the approximated delivery time, or an alternative product will be proposed; otherwise, we would proceed to cancel and refund the amount paid.
The shipments are made with a transport company and the cost of it may vary depending on weight and volume of the ordered products. The delivery will be considered made at the moment in which the carrier has delivered the order to the client and the client has signed the delivery receipt document.
It is the responsibility of the client to verify the products upon receipt and expose all reservations and claims that may be justified at the time of receipt of delivery.
Once the products are received, the client must try, in the first 24 hours, to check if the products are in good condition and communicate any incidence within the same period. The indicated delivery time is for guidance only and we strive our best to respect it. However, its delay will not imply any compensation.


Girovet S.L. will admit payments with credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX), BIZUM and bank transfer.

Card payments with ServiRed

Credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX), the payment will be made through the CaixaBank POS once it has been verified that the information communicated is correct. In this way, we guarantee total confidentiality about bank personal information, which is transmitted directly. Our transactions are totally secure and encrypted through SSL safety; our server is secure with the HTTPS protocol. For safety reasons, www.girovet.com does not handle, in any case, the bank details of your credit card. The fraud with credit card is a crime; this company will take legal action against anyone who makes fraudulent transactions on our online shop.

Payments with BIZUM

The client can pay through BIZUM app. In this way, we will not handle with the client's payment information.

Payments with bank transfer

If the client wants to pay by bank transfer, they must check the "Payment by transfer" case in payment methods. We will provide you the bank details and once the payment receipt is received, we will proceed to send the order.


For veterinarians with a Girovet PRO account, the professional account, Girovet S.L. will have previously agreed with them on the payment method. The different options are with credit card, bank transfer or direct debit. The payment will also be made at the agreed time.


It is important to check the products once the shipment is received. If any damage is observed or any product is in a poor condition, you must notify it to the carrier an indicate it on the delivery note. It is the client responsibility to verify the products upon receipt and expose all reservations and claims that may be justified at the time of receipt of delivery. The client must try, in the first 24 hours, to verify the conditions of the products or if you have received by mistake any other product than requested and communicate the incidence to Girovet S.L. so that we can discern the cause. The user has a 7-days period to communicate the wish to return the order. This period begins on the day of receipt of the order. To do this, the products must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered, unsealed, unused and in their original packaging. The costs of the return will be by the client.
