Unless specifically stipulated in writing, purchases made at GIROVET S.L. are subject to the general conditions of purchase contained on the page at the time the corresponding purchase order is placed. The formalization of an order entails its full acceptance. These purchase conditions have been exposed in due time, by current legislation.

The present General Conditions regulate the sale of the products presented on this website (www.girovet.com) by Girovet S.L., with address at Carretera Les Planes Km. 3,9 in Sant Gregori, 17150 Girona.

All purchases made at www.girovet.com are subject to the following General Conditions and the Law 7/1998, April 13th, about General Contract Conditions. These sales are regulated by Law 34/2002, July 11th, about Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.


The purpose of this contract is to regulate the contractual relationship of sale born between the provider (Girovet S.L.) and the user at the moment that the user accepts it during the online contracting process in the corresponding box.

The contractual relationship of sale entails the delivery, in exchange for a certain price exposed through the website, of a specific product or service.


To place the order, the products will be selected by clicking the "add to cart" tab. The order will be the total of the selected products. The prices indicated for each product do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) or other taxes that may be applicable, and in any case, they will be expressed in the euro (€) currency. Said expenses, unless stated otherwise, do not include shipping costs, manipulation, wrapping, shipping insurance, or any other extra services or annexes to the product or service purchased. The prices applicable to each product will be those published on the website, and they will appear in the contracting process's last step. The client assumes that, in any case, the economic valuation of some products may vary in real time. In any case, this will always be communicated to the users. Every payment made to the provider will entail the issuance of an invoice in the name of the registered user. Said invoice will be sent with the purchased product. The assigned tracking number, which can be found in the purchase confirmation email, must be indicated in the subject of the message. Girovet S.L. confirms the acceptance of the order to the customer via e-mail. The sale will not end until Girovet S.L. confirms the order.

Girovet S.L. reserves the right not to confirm an order for any specific reason, such as the supply of products, a problem related to the order received, an abnormal order, or a foreseeable delivery product. Girovet S.L. will inform the client.


The client will choose the place of receipt of the merchandise at the time of placing the order. Girovet S.L. reserves the right to use all the necessary means to deliver the products to the address indicated by the client. Shipments to the Canary Islands: by accepting the general conditions, the client agrees to pay customs fees.


Delivery will vary depending on the destination and the selected service.
As a guide, the contracted delivery times are as follows: Spain (Peninsula) 24-48h; Balearic Islands 24-72h; Canary Islands consult conditions; Portugal 24-72h; Europe transit time to consult. In any case, for various reasons, the delivery may be delayed.
For the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla and the other countries, the delivery will be determined at the time of acceptance of the order.
In the event that we do not have a product in stock, we will inform you by telephone or e-mail about the approximated delivery time, or an alternative product will be proposed; otherwise, we will proceed to cancel and refund the amount paid.
The shipments are made with a transport company, and the cost of them may vary depending on the weight and volume of the ordered products. The delivery will be considered made at the moment when the carrier has delivered the order to the client and the client has signed the delivery receipt document.
It is the responsibility of the client to verify the products upon receipt and expose all reservations and claims that may be justified at the time of delivery.
Once the products are received, the client must try, within the first 24 hours, to check if the products are in good condition and communicate any incidents within the same period. The indicated delivery time is for guidance only, and we strive to respect it. Yet, its delay will not imply any compensation.


Girovet S.L. will accept payments with credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX), BIZUM and bank transfers.

Card payments with ServiRed

Credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX), the payment will be made through the CaixaBank POS once it has been verified that the information communicated is correct. In this way, we guarantee total confidentiality about bank personal information, which is transmitted directly. Our transactions are secure and encrypted through SSL safety; our server is secure with the HTTPS protocol. For safety reasons, www.girovet.com does not handle, in any case, the bank details of your credit card. Fraud with a credit card is a crime, and this company will take legal action against anyone who makes fraudulent transactions on our online shop.

Payments with BIZUM

The client can pay through the BIZUM app. In this way, we will not handle the client's payment information.

Payments with bank transfer

If the client wants to pay by bank transfer, they must check the "Payment by transfer" case in payment methods. We will provide you with the bank details, and once the payment receipt is received, we will proceed to send the order.


For veterinarians with a Girovet PRO account, the professional account, Girovet S.L. will have previously agreed with them on the payment method. The different options are credit card, bank transfer, or direct debit. The payment will also be made at the agreed time.


It is important to check the products once the shipment is received. If any damage is observed or any product is in poor condition, you must notify the carrier and state it on the delivery note. It is the client's responsibility to verify the products upon receipt and expose all reservations and claims that may be justified at the time of delivery. The client must try, in the first 24 hours, to verify the conditions of the products or, if you have received by mistake any other product than requested, communicate the incidence to Girovet S.L. so that we can discern the cause. The user has a 7-day period to communicate their wish to return the order. This period begins on the day of receipt of the order. To do this, the products must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered: unsealed, unused, and in their original packaging. The cost of the return will be borne by the client.
