Description

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Injectable solution. Transparent solution, colorless and practically free from visible particles.

SPECIES
Equine.

Indications

Relief of clinical forelimb lameness associated with bone resorption processes of the distal sesamoid (navicular bone) in adult horses.

Dose / Application / Administration

Routes of administration:
Only intramuscular.
Dosage:
1,53mg of clodronic acid per kg of body weight, equivalent to 3ml of the product per 100kg of body weight. Divide the total volume evenly for administration to 2 or 3 injection points.
The maximum dose is 765mg of clodronic acid per horse (one vial of 15ml per horse >500kg). Do not exceed the recommended dose.

The safety of this medication in pregnant or lactating mares has not been proven. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation in mares.
