SPASMOBRONCHAL INJECTABLE SOL. 50ML

Adjuvant treatment in respiratory processes that occur with spasm of the bronchial musculature, of any origin: cough and dyspnea as a consequence of bronchial spasms, subacute and chronic bronchitis, with bronchoconstriction symptoms, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In acute and subacute cases of bronchitis and bronchopneumonia, administer in combination with antibiotics and/or sulfonamides, and if possible, with bronchosecretolytics.

Prophylactically, in those animals in which hypersensitivity reactions with certain allergens are to be expected, the preparation should be administered prior to exposure to the triggering allergen.
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipient.

Route of administration:
Intravenous.
Dosage:
0,8µg of clenbuterol hydrochloride per kg of live weight, equivalent to 2,7ml of medicament per 100kg of live weight. In adult animals weighing approximately 500kg, administer 13,5ml of injectable solution. The recommended doses of the medicament should be administered twice a day, preferably in the morning and in the evening.
The average duration of the treatment will be 10 days, taking into account that it will be subject to various factors. In any case, a minimum of 5 days is recommended.

In pregnant mares, the treatment must be discontinued 1 – 2 days before the expected date of labor due to its capacity to inhibit uterine contractions.
Since the medicament is eliminated through milk, newborn animals must not be fed milk from mothers treated with this medicament.
