Indications
Symptomatic treatment of acute arthritis.
Dose / Application / Administration
Routes of administration:
Slow intravenous.
Dosage:

Dosage:
- Initial dose (adult animal and foals): 4ml/100kg of Butasyl at 12 hours intervals.
- Maintenance dose (adult animal and foals): 2ml/100kg of Butasyl at 12 hours intervals.
- Duration of the treatment: 4 – 6 days depending on the inflammatory process. The initial dose of 0,04ml of Butasyl/kg of live weight is equivalent to 7,44mg of phenylbutazone/kg live weight and 2mg of salycilamide/kg live weight, while the maintenance dose of 0,02ml of Butasyl/kg of live weight is equivalent to 3,72mg of phenylbutazone/kg live weight and 1mg of salycilamide/kg of live weight.
Do not use on pregnant or lactating females.
Do not use on horses whose meat or milk is intended for human consumption.
