Indications
Palliative (supportive) treatment of the following diseases in all indicated species:
- Primary ketosis.
- Acute arthritis, non-infectious, tendovaginitis and bursitis.
- Non-infectious inflammatory diseases or skin allergies.
Dose / Application / Administration
HORSES:
Route of administration:
Subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous.
Dosage:
Dose of 0,02 – 0,06mg of dexamethasone/kg of live weight, equivalent to 0,25 – 0,75ml of this product per 50kg of live weight.
Single administration.
The application during pregnancy should only be carried out with a strict indication. When this medication is used during lactation, a temporary reduction in milk yield occurs.
In the case of lactating animals, use only after strict indication, since glucocorticoids pass into milk and growth disturbances may occur in young animals.
