Indications
Relief of inflammation and the clinical parameters associated with recurrent airway obstruction in horses in combination with environmental control.
Dose / Application / Administration
Route of administration:
Oral.
Dosage:
A single dose of 1mg of prednisolone/kg of l.w. per day. One sachet is enough to treat a 300kg horse.
The treatment can be repeated at 24h intervals for 10 consecutive days. The correct dose must be mixed with a small amount of food. The feed mixed with the medicament must be replaced if it is not consumed within 24 hours.
The safety of this medicament in mares during pregnancy has not been proven, and the medicament is contraindicated for use in pregnant mares.
