Indications
HORSES:
Relief of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders.
Relief of visceral pain associated with colic.
Concomitant therapy for endotoxemia due to or resulting from postoperative or medical conditions or diseases that cause impaired blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract.
Reduction of pyrexia.
Relief of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders.
Relief of visceral pain associated with colic.
Concomitant therapy for endotoxemia due to or resulting from postoperative or medical conditions or diseases that cause impaired blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract.

Dose / Application / Administration
HORSES:
Route of administration:
Intravenous.
Dosage:
Relief of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and reduction of pyrexia:
1.1 mg of flunixin/kg of body weight (1 ml per 45 kg) once daily for up to 5 days depending on clinical response.
Relief of visceral pain associated with colic:
1.1 mg of flunixin/kg of body weight (1 ml per 45 kg). Repeat once or twice if colic recurs.
Concomitant therapy of endotoxemia due to or resulting from post-surgical or medical conditions or diseases that cause circulatory disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract:
0.25 mg of flunixin/kg of body weight every 6-8 hours or 1.1 mg of flunixin/kg of body weight once daily for up to 5 consecutive days.
Withdrawal periods:
Meat: 5 days (intravenously).
Its use is not authorized in mares whose milk is intended for human consumption.
