Vigophos 100 mg/ml + 0.05 mg/ml injectable solution

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Injectable solution. Clear solution of reddish or red color.

SPECIES
Bovine, horses, dogs.

For all species:
- Supportive treatment and prevention of hypophosphatemia and/or cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) deficiency.

Horses:
- Complementary treatment in horses with muscle wasting.

Cattle:
- Supportive treatment to restore rumination after surgical treatment of displaced abomasum associated with secondary ketosis.
- Complementary treatment of puerperal paresis in addition to Ca/Mg therapy.
- Prevention of the development of ketosis, if administered before calving.

The dose depends on the animal's weight (bw) and condition.

Target species
Horses and cattle:
- Butafosfan dose (mg/kg bw): 5-10
- Cyanocobalamin dose (mg/kg bw): 0.0025-0.005
- Dose volume of the veterinary medicinal product: 5-10 ml/100 kg
- Route of administration: i.v.

Dogs:
- Butafosfan dose (mg/kg bw): 10-15
- Cyanocobalamin dose (mg/kg bw): 0.005-0.0075
- Dose volume of the veterinary medicinal product: 0.1-0.15 ml/kg
- Route of administration: i.v., i.m., s.c.

It is recommended to warm the solution to body temperature before administration.
