It is assumed that the safe dose of Calcium is 12mg of Ca/kg body weight. However, sometimes, in case of persistent symptoms of calcium deficiency, it is necessary to increase the volume administered. The volume should not exceed 0,8ml/kg body weight (corresponding to 18mg/kg body weight) in one perfusion. Special warnings for use of the veterinary medicinal product must be taken into account.

Depending on the severity of the clinical signs, administration of the veterinary medicinal product may be repeated until the clinical signs disappear.

Perfusion should be administered slowly (no faster than 30ml of the veterinary medicinal product per minute).
