Indications
Treatment of electrolytic disorders in mammals (calcium deficiencies are often accompanied by magnesium and phosphorus deficiencies):
- Horses: clinical form of hypocalcemia.
- Bovine: clinical form of hypocalcemia, i.e. milk fever (pre or postpartum paresis, peripartum paresis) and pasture tetany (clinical form of hypomagnesemia).
- Pigs: clinical form of hypocalcemia (pre or postpartum paresis, peripartum paresis).

- Horses and bovine: 300ml
- Calves: 30ml
- Pigs: 70ml
It is assumed that the safe dose of Calcium is 12mg of Ca/kg body weight. However, sometimes, in case of persistent symptoms of calcium deficiency, it is necessary to increase the volume administered. The volume should not exceed 0,8ml/kg body weight (corresponding to 18mg/kg body weight) in one perfusion. Special warnings for use of the veterinary medicinal product must be taken into account.
Depending on the severity of the clinical signs, administration of the veterinary medicinal product may be repeated until the clinical signs disappear.
Perfusion should be administered slowly (no faster than 30ml of the veterinary medicinal product per minute).

Calcium gluconate for injectable solutions: 250mg (equivalent to 22,5mg of calcium or 0,56mmol of Ca+2)
Magnesium gluconate hexahydrate: 80mg (equivalent to 9,56mg of magnesium or 0,39mmol of Mg2+)
Sodium glycherophosphate pentahydrate: 10mg (equivalent to 1,01mg of phosphorus or 0,03mmol of P5+)
Excipients:
Boric acid: 50mg
pH of the solution: 3,0 - 4,0
Osmolarity: 1900 - 2300mOsmol/kg
