Indications
This medicament is indicated in horses for the treatment of spasmodic colic and oesophageal obstruction.
Dose / Application / Administration
Routes of administration:
Administer by slow intravenous route.
Dosage:
The recommended dose is 0,2mg of scopolamine butylbromure and 25mg of sodic metamizole/kg l.w. (equivalent to 5ml/100kg l.w.) in a single intravenous injection. Its effect generally persists for 4 – 6 hours. For this reason, in most cases, a single administration is enough.
The safety of this medication during pregnancy and lactation has not been proven. Use only in accordance with the benefit-risk assessment made by the responsible veterinarian.
