Indications
Treatment of the following parasitosis in horses:
- Nematodes: Big strongylus: Strongylus vulgaris, Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus equinus, Triodontophorus spp.
- Small strongylus (adults and fourth stage larvae, including resistant strains to benzimidazole): Coronocyclus spp., Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicodontophorus bicornatus, Cylicostephanus spp., Gyalocephalus capitatus, Parapoteriostomum spp., Petrovinema poculaturn, Poteriostomum spp.
- Other nematodes: Trichostrongylus axei, Dictyocaulus arnfieldi, Oxyuris equi, Parascaris equorum, Habronema muscae, Onchocerca spp., Strongyloides westeri.
- Dipteric insects: Gastrophilus spp.
- Dermatosis caused by cutaneous larvae Habronema spp. and Draschia spp.
Dose / Application / Administration
Routes of administration:
Oral.
Dosage:
Doses of 0,2mg of ivermectin/kg of live weight in a single dose.
Every weight indication marked on the plunger of the syringe provides a sufficient amount to treat 100kg of live weight.
For the syringe intended to treat horses up to 750kg, calibrated markings are provided at intervals of 125kg of body weight.
It can be used during pregnancy and lactation in animals that do not produce milk for human consumption.
