Indications
For the active immunization of horses and poneys to reduce the clinical signs and respiratory lesions of the disease (Equine Herpesvirus type 1 and type 4).
For the active immunization of mares to reduce abortions associated with equine herpesvirus type 1 infection.
- Start of immunity: 3 weeks after primary vaccination.
- Duration of immunity: 6 months after primary vaccination.

Dose / Application / Administration
Route of administration:
Deep intramuscular injection.
Dosage:
Administer one dose (1,5ml) per animal according to the following schedule:

Administer one dose (1,5ml) per animal according to the following schedule:
- Primary vaccination: consists of two doses administered 4 – 6 weeks apart. The first vaccination should be given at the age of 5 – 6 months. In cases of increased risk of infection (for example, when insufficient colostrum has been taken), an additional vaccination is recommended every 3 months, followed by the schedule mentioned above.
- Revaccinations: revaccination is recommended twice a year.
- Pregnant mares: administer a dose in the 5th, 7th and 9th months of pregnancy.
It can be used during pregnancy. However, the treatment of pregnant mares is associated with risks.

Inactivated equine herpesvirus type 1, strain 438/77 R.P.* ≥1
Inactivated equine herpesvirus type 4, strain 405/76 R.P.* ≥1
*R.P. = Relative power by an ELISA test compared to a reference vaccine that has been shown to be effective in horses.
Adjuvant:
Carbomer 934P 6mg
