Dose / Application / Administration
Administration route:
Intravenous administration should be the route of choice, and adequate sedation should be applied if the veterinarian deems it necessary. For horses and cattle, premedication is mandatory. In these cases, pentobarbital should be injected as a rapid bolus.

- Horses and ponies: 1ml per 4,5 – 5 kg of body weight, intravenously as a rapid bolus.
