With the arrival of good weather and longer days, more fairs, romerías, competitions and other activities in which the horse plays an essential role take place. It is important to ensure his well-being through diet, hydration, rest, shelter from the sun or bad weather, etc.

With this objective, the College of Veterinarians of Sevilla has prepared an informative poster to ensure the animal welfare of horses at fairs and romerías. The poster includes a series of veterinarian guidelines and advice on aspects related to a correct diet and hydration, accommodation and rest, basic health care, hygiene and care of hooves and shoeing.
