Description
Dampness weakens the hoof, breaking its structure and causing frog rot. Conventional ointments used to harden hooves can worsen the problem by drying up the hoof.
ONGIFEN is the first 100% natural hoof-hardening and moisturizing ointment in the form of a melting cream. ONGIFEN protects and substantially improves the appearance of soles and frogs. As it is waterproof, it completely insulates the foot from dampness while ensuring that the hoof remains hydrated thanks to its ultra-moisturizing properties.

Properties:

Properties:
- Protects and reinforces: ONGIFEN contains Oleo Europeae and Glyceryl to help prevent hoof problems. This unique formula helps make hooves more resistant to external irritants, boosted by the effects of vitamin E.
- Intensely moisturizes: ONGIFEN provides intense hydration for the hooves. The Butyrospermum and fatty acids in its formula have very potent nourishing qualities. This action is further boosted by Helianthus annuus seed oil, which provides emollient, nourishing and renewing properties and supplies hooves with the ingredients they need to fully renew.
- Protects against external irritants: ONGIFEN care cream provides active protection against humidity. Stearic acid forms an even, water-resistant film across the entire hoof. This natural barrier allows the hoof to breathe while keeping it protected from dampness. Vitamin E helps prevent damage caused by the oxidation of cell membranes, thereby maintaining optimum hydration levels and providing intense protection for tissues.

- Ideal for hoof disorders sensitive to dampness and infections.

- Damaged or rotting soles.

Dose / Application / Administration
ONGIFEN is easily applied with a brush to the whole foot.
- In prevention: if the horse's feet are exposed daily to humidity or dirt (manure, urine, mud, rain): once a week on the whole foot. If the horse's feet are exposed daily to moisture or dirt (dung, urine, mud, rain): once a week/every 10 days, after cleaning and brushing the foot, apply a thick layer (including heel bulbs if needed). Stop the applications when the foot becomes dry.
- In light treatment: if the horse's feet are soft (sole, heel bulbs): every 2-3 days, after having cleaned and brushed the foot, apply a thick layer (including bulbs if necessary). Stop the applications when the foot becomes dry.
- In intense treatment: apply ONGIFEN in a thick layer, insisting on the problem areas and filling in the holes again. Wait half an hour before putting the horse back in a wet or muddy environment. Repeat the operation every 1 to 2 days, less often if the condition of the foot allows it. Space out the treatments progressively according to the improvement.
