Description

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Clear, slightly yellowish injectable solution.

SPECIES
Bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine, horses and dogs.

Indications

  • Bovine: Indigestion, toxemias, ketosis, anorexia, and hepatic and pancreatic insufficiency.
  • Ovine and caprine: Indigestion, toxemias (including pregnancy toxemia), intoxications, and hepatic and pancreatic insufficiency.
  • Porcine: Indigestion, anorexia, intoxications, hepatic and pancreatic insufficiency.
  • Horses: Toxemias, anorexia, colic, and hepatic and pancreatic insufficiency.
  • Dogs: Indigestion, toxemias, anorexia, constipation, and hepatic and pancreatic insufficiency.

Dose / Application / Administration

Slow intravenous and deep intramuscular.
  • Adult cattle: 5–7.5mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 15–20kg of body weight, via deep IM or slow IV administration.
  • Calves: 10mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 10kg of body weight, via deep IM or slow IV administration.
  • Sheep and goats: 10mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 10kg of body weight, via deep IM or slow IV administration.
  • Pigs: 10mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 10kg of body weight per day, via deep IM or slow IV administration.
  • Horses: 2.5–5mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 20–40kg of body weight, via slow IV administration.
  • Dogs: 10mg of menbutone/kg b.w. per day, equivalent to 1 ml of injectable solution per 10kg b.w. per day, via deep IM or slow IV administration.
