Indications
Sedation to facilitate handling during diagnostic procedures, minor surgery, and general manipulations.
Deep sedation and analgesia in combination with synthetic opioids.
Premedication before induction of general anesthesia.
Dose / Application / Administration
Route of administration:
Intravenous.
Dosage:
40 – 120µg of romifidine hydrochloride per kg of l.w. (equivalent to 0,4 – 1,2ml of Sedivet per 100kg of live weight), providing a dose-dependent response. The start of the action occurs, regardless of the dose, within 1 – 2 minutes. Maximum sedation is reached after 5 – 10 minutes.

Do not use this medicament during pregnancy.
