Indications
For the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle and pigs caused by Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome.
- Bovine: respiratory diseases caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica. Digital dermatitis, infectious bulbar necrosis and acute interdigital necrobacillosis (whitlow). Acute E. coli mastitis with signs of systemic involvement.
- Calves: E. coli septicemia in calves.
- Pigs: for the treatment of bacterial infections of the lungs and respiratory system caused by Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Streptococcus suis and other microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome. Mastitis-metritis-agalaxia (MMA) syndrome caused by E. coli, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and other microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome.
- Piglets: reduction in mortality in cases of meningitis caused by Streptococcus suis. For the treatment of: Arthritis caused by Streptococcus spp., E. coli and other microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome. Epidermitis (mild or moderate lesions) caused by Staphylococcus hyicus.

- Bovine: respiratory diseases caused by Pasteurella multocida and M. Haemolytica, digital dermatitis, infectious bulbar necrosis and acute interdigital necrobacillosis administer 1 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (2 ml/50 kg bw), once a day for 3 or 5 consecutive days. In cases of acute mastitis due to E. coli with signs of systemic involvement, administer 1 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (2 ml/50 kg bw), once a day for 3 or 5 consecutive days.
- Calves: E. coli septicemia, administer 2 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (4 ml/50 kg bw), once a day for 3 or 5 consecutive days.
- Pigs: in respiratory diseases administer 2 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (2 ml/25 kg b.w.) for 3 consecutive days. In MMA administer 2 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (2 ml/25 kg bw) once a day for 2 consecutive days.
- Piglets: in cases of meningitis, arthritis and epidermitis administer 2 mg cefquinome/kg b.w. (2 ml/25 kg bw) once a day for 5 consecutive days.
