Indications
HORSES NOT INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION:
Treatment of piroplasmosis caused by Babesia equi and Babesia caballi.

- Treatment of piroplasmosis caused by Babesia caballi: administer 2mg of imidocarb/kg l.w. (equivalent to 0,023ml/kg l.w.), 2 consecutive days.
- Treatment of piroplasmosis caused by Babesia equi: administer 4 – 5 injections of 4ml of imidocarb/kg l.w. each one (equivalent to 0,047ml/kg l.w.), at intervals of 72 hours.
The safety of this medication during pregnancy and lactation has not been proven. Use only in accordance with the benefit-risk assessment made by the responsible veterinarian.
