Indications
- Pigs: for the treatment of clinical signs associated with respiratory syndrome caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae sensitive to doxycycline.
- Chickens: when the presence of the clinical disease has been detected on the farm, to reduce mortality, morbidity and clinical signs, as well as to decrease the injuries caused by Pasteurella multocida or the morbidity and injuries in respiratory infections caused by Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale.

- Pigs: doses of 12,5mg of doxycycline hyclate (25mg of this product) per kg of live weight daily for 4 consecutive days. If no improvement in clinical signs is observed during the said time interval, the diagnosis should be reviewed and treatment modified. In cases of severe infections, the duration of treatment can be extended to a maximum of 8 consecutive days, according to the criteria of the responsible veterinarian.
- Chickens: 10mg of doxycycline hyclate (20mg of this product) per kg of live weight daily for 3-4 consecutive days in cases of infections caused by P. multocida and 20mg of doxycycline hyclate (40mg of this product) per kg of live weight daily for 3-4 consecutive days in cases of infections caused by O. rhinotracheale.
In the absence of specific studies, the use of this medication is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
