Indications
Treatment of acute infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the combination of procaine benzylpenicillin and benzathine benzylpenicillin.
Dose / Application / Administration
Administration route:
Intramuscular.
Dosage:
The dose depends on the type and severity of the infection and the animal's body weight.
6mg/kg of benzylpenicillin monohydrate + 5mg/kg of benzylpenicillin benzatin tetrahydrate (equivalent to 1ml of BENZATARD per 25kg of l.w.) in a single dose.
Do not administer more than 5ml at the same injection point.
The weight of the animals must be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
The safety of the veterinary medicinal product during pregnancy has not been demonstrated. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy or lactation.
