Indications
Treatment of acute infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the combination of procaine benzylpenicillin and dihydrostreptomycin.
Dose / Application / Administration
HORSES:
Routes of administration:
Intramuscular.
Dosage:
8mg/kg of procaine benzylpenicillin and 10mg/kg of dihydrostreptomycin per day (equivalent to 0,4ml of EXABIOPEN per 10kg of l.w.) for 3 consecutive days.
To ensure the correct dose, body weight must be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
Do not administer to pregnant females, due to the risk of fetal cochleovestibular toxicity.
